Unwritten Law Albums for song lyrics and biography.
Unwritten Law is best known for the singles "Cailin'" and "Seein' Red". The band started in San Diego, California, in 1990. The current members are Scott Russo, Pat "PK" Kim, Steve Morris, Rob Brewer, and Tony Palermo. Unwritten Law lives up to their name by breaking some of the 'laws' of modern music. They have three guitar players, and on the latest album, featured two drummers. They play their music acoustically before adding any effects. Unwritten Law members have appeared on other San Diego bands' albums, including Blink 182's Dude Ranch. The last remaining original mamber of the Unwritten Law, drummer Wade Youman, was kicked out in 2004. Replacing him were Adrian young from No Doubt, and Tony Palermo of Pulley.

Unwritten Law's first full-legnth album was Blue Room. Released in 1995, it was quickly followed by Oz Factor in 1996. In 1998 they released the self-titled Unwritten Law, and 2002's Elva made #1 rock album in Australia. Music in High Places was a live album, which was followed by Here's to the Mourning in 2005.
