Fabolous was born John Jackson in Brooklyn, New York. He is a mixed Dominican and African-American rapper who became a mainstream star after his debut single "I Can't Deny It".

The first star to come from DJ Clue's Desert Storm, Fabolous collaborated with Lil Mo, Nate Dogg, The Neptunes, Ja Rule, and Timbaland on Ghetto Fabolous. "Can't Deny It" and Ghetto Fabolous became hits. The follow-up, Street Dreams, produced the hits "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You". Fabolous's 3rd album, Real Talk, was released in 2004.
