The Bloodhound Gang consists of Jimmy Pop, Lupus Thunder, Evil Jared Hasselhoff, DJ Q-Ball, and Willie the New Guy. The Bloodhound Gang is a rock/hip-hop synth band that got started in 1994 in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. They are known for their offensive and obscene lyrics. Talking about abductions, incest, and other taboo subjects, the lyrics are full of similes, puns, and metaphors, which make for 'intelligent' listening. The Bloodhound Gang's hit Fire Water Burn reuses the Rock Master Scott's famous lyric "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! We don't need no water let the motherfucker burn! Burn motherfucker burn!". The Bloodhound Gang has also appeared in MTV's hit shows Jackass and Viva La Bam.

The Bloodhound Gang was started by Jimmy Pop and Daddy Long Legs. The group released Dingleberry Haze EP, and got signed to Columbia Records. Their first album, Use Your Fingers, was such a failure that Columbia dropped them. Daddy Long Legs let the band, and Jimmy Pop found new musicians to piece together the next album, One Fierce Beer Coaster. The DVD One Fierce Beer Run is the story behind the One Fierce Beer Coaster tour. The Bloodhound Gang finally got themselves got signed to Geffen Records, who forced them to pull two tracks as the songs were considered racist.

Hefty Fine was originally entitled Heavy Flow, however the name was changed when the bang noticed that Moby had already used the name in a song. The singles Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo and no Hard Feelings saw heavy airplay. The band is actively trying to change the Pennsylvania State Anthem to their own song Pennsylvania.
